OVERVIEW

We are partnering with a highly established and growing industrial construction organization seeking a Site Quality Inspector to join their Quality team. This is a key field-based role supporting large-scale industrial construction projects and ensuring all work meets strict quality, safety, and code compliance standards.

This position works closely with project managers, engineers, site supervision, and operational leadership, providing direct impact on project execution and final turnover quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Site Quality Inspector, you will:
  • Inspect all site welds to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications 
  • Identify, stop, and report unsafe conditions or unsafe work practices 
  • Interpret and apply relevant construction codes (e.g., ASME and other governing standards) 
  • Ensure welders are properly qualified for assigned work 
  • Perform weld inspections, assign weld identification numbers, and maintain weld logs and weld maps 
  • Support hydrotesting activities and turnover package development and maintenance 
  • Use punch lists to track and report incomplete or non-conforming work items 
  • Compile and maintain complete turnover documentation packages 
  • Coordinate closely with site supervision to ensure quality requirements are met throughout construction 
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in piping inspection or industrial construction quality 
  • Experience supporting turnover package development 
  • Familiarity with weld mapping, heat maps, and hydrotest documentation 
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of ASME codes and industrial piping standards 
  • Experience administering weld tests is highly preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn technical systems quickly
