Overview
A well-established, growing industrial construction firm is seeking a Project Engineer to join a high-performing project team. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects while gaining exposure across multiple functional areas of project execution.
The Project Engineer will work closely with experienced industry leaders and collaborate regularly with clients, field supervision, and internal operations teams.
Responsibilities
Support key functions across Project Controls, Estimating, Purchasing, and Tool & Equipment teams
Develop an understanding of commercial terms, contract conditions, and risk management strategies
Assist with interpreting craft labor agreements and various contract delivery methods
Participate in construction operations meetings and project coordination activities
Build and maintain professional relationships through client interaction and engagement
Understand and communicate limitations of authority related to project risk
Perform weekly safety audits and actively participate in daily safety planning
Support company safety incentive programs and quality initiatives
Participating in Quality Action Teams
Assist with marketing plans and project pursuits
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 0–4 years of experience in a Project Engineer or similar role
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Interest in growing a long-term career in industrial construction
