Solar PV Warranty Service Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, technically skilled, and customer-focused Solar PV Warranty Service Manager to oversee all aspects of residential and commercial solar PV warranty claims, system monitoring, and preventative and corrective Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in solar PV installation and service, excellent project management abilities, and a commitment to ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and system performance.

Qualifications

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in the solar PV industry, with hands-on experience in installation, O&M, or technical service.
  • Proven background managing warranty claims and service operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior project management experience is required; electrical or journeyman-level field experience strongly preferred.
Technical Proficiency
  • Strong understanding of grid-tied PV systems (single-phase and three-phase).
  • Proficient with solar monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) as it applies to PV systems.
Organizational & Management Skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Strong grasp of project management principles, including scope, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Experience using CRM or service management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
Communication & Customer Service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high levels of customer satisfaction.
Education & Certifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • NABCEP certification (Installer, PV Technical Sales, or O&M) preferred.
  • NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certifications are a plus.
Additional Details
  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional site visits. Must be comfortable with rooftop environments and field inspections.
