Job Title: Project Manager – Solar (Remote, U.S. Based)
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale solar energy projects across the Commercial, Industrial, and Utility sectors (ranging from 20kW to 20MW). This is a remote position for U.S.-based candidates, with travel required to project sites nationwide.
This role is ideal for someone who can drive project success from feasibility to commissioning while coordinating with cross-functional teams and navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee full project lifecycle including planning, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • Define and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and risk for multiple projects
  • Lead cross-functional teams (zoning, engineering, construction, integration, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal leadership
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables using project management tools
  • Perform and present risk analyses, progress updates, and contingency planning
  • Foster strong relationships with partners and community stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing solar projects through full development and execution lifecycle
  • Proven experience in site acquisition, interconnection, permitting, environmental compliance, and construction oversight
  • Familiarity with energy storage and L2–L3 EV charging installations is a plus
  • Strong grasp of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix organization
  • Financial acumen in budget tracking, invoicing, and revenue forecasting
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
