This role provides hands-on experience across multiple departments and the opportunity to work closely with experienced project leaders. You will regularly interact with project managers, site supervisors, and operations leadership, gaining exposure to all phases of project execution and construction operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Project Engineer, you will:
Develop proficiency in key functions within Project Controls.
Gain exposure to Estimating processes and support estimating activities.
Assist with Purchasing and Tool & Equipment functions.
Understand commercial terms and conditions associated with projects.
Learn about craft labor agreements and how they impact project execution.
Gain exposure to a variety of contract strategies and delivery methods.
Participate in ongoing Construction Operations Meetings.
Perform tasks within internal accounting and project management systems.
Support customer engagement and help maintain strong client relationships.
Attend Risk Management training to understand acceptable project risk levels.
Conduct weekly safety audits and participate in daily safety planning.
Participate in safety incentive programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Engage in Quality Action Teams to identify improvements in operations and procedures.
Assist with marketing and project pursuit activities.
Uphold and communicate compliance with company values, policies, and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Open to both recent graduates and experienced Project Engineers within industrial construction.
