The Role

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives, build client relationships, and drive business growth in the renewable energy sector. The role involves market research, strategy development, and working closely with internal teams to optimize client satisfaction and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar projects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets, forecasts, and growth objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data, provide regular performance reports, and propose strategies to optimize results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support sales team members, fostering a performance-driven and collaborative culture.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the evolving needs of the sales team and company.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the solar or renewable energy industry, preferably in module or component sales
  • Proven track record of successful sales and lead generation
  • Strong leadership, team management, and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of U.S. market trends and regulatory nuances
  • Potential to work remotely based on performance

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Fluency or conversational ability in Mandarin is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused and proactive approach to prospecting and sales development
  • Comfortable navigating change and thinking strategically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM platforms (e.g., Zoho), contract management tools, and DocuSign
