Assistant Project Manager 

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist the Project Manager in all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, active construction, and project closeout. Responsibilities include supporting cost control, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance. This role also requires the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with the pre-construction team to develop bid packages, budgets, and schedules 
  • Review bid package scopes and cost estimates for accuracy 
  • Coordinate with clients and design teams regarding cost control, value engineering, and scheduling 
  • Assist in developing and managing project requirements with stakeholders 
  • Prepare and execute subcontract agreements 
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors throughout project duration 
  • Maintain document control, including submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs 
  • Attend, lead, and document project meetings 
  • Support project cost management, including tracking changes and maintaining budgets 
  • Update and maintain project schedules 
  • Work with site superintendents to ensure quality and safety standards are met 
  • Support project closeout activities, including testing, inspections, training, O&M documentation, turnover, and warranty management 
  • Conduct regular site visits and coordination meetings with field teams 
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Must maintain punctuality and meet all attendance and performance requirements, including adherence to schedules, deadlines, breaks, and assigned duties.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
