Estimator
Required to be onsite 5 days per week
Must be based in Oregon or within commutable distance of office
Salary band: $120K - $150K base salary + annual bonus, profit sharing, and more
Responsibilities:
Analyze preliminary drawings, field reviews, and conversations to determine material and labor needs.
Develop take-offs, bills of materials, labor estimates, and subcontractor quotes.
Address potential risks and discrepancies in project documentation.
Prepare alternate proposals in formats like unit price and time/materials.
Coordinate proposals from scope identification to final submission.
Ensure cost-effective use of materials, fabrication, subcontractors, and equipment.
Participate in bid reviews, project meetings, and maintain detailed, organized records to support pricing.
Adhere to established estimating standards and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years of industrial/mechanical estimating experience.
